Cooper Abbott is chairman and president of Carillon Tower Advisers, a global multi-boutique, multi-channel investment manager. He and his team execute a strategy of partnership in asset management based on organic growth, acquisitions/partnerships, expansion, and cultivation of a culture focused on client-investment outcomes.
Cooper has more than 20 years experience across a range of leadership and executive asset management roles spanning investments, sales, risk, infrastructure, and international development. He has developed businesses across a range of investment approaches including fundamental, quantitative, multi-asset class, and ESG; across geographies and client types. Previous experience includes private-equity investing, project finance, and complex environmental projects. Additionally, he has served as a Fulbright Fellow in the South Pacific working on cross-culture ecological sustainability. His insights on capital markets, investments and the business of asset management have appeared in a range of publications and broadcast outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, IPE, Institutional Investor, CNBC, and Fox Business, among others.
Cooper earned a B.A. from Brown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania). He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, a CFA charterholder, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and received the Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst designation.
