Sassouni is a healthcare-sector specialist. He has 35 years of investment experience and seven years of experience with various healthcare companies, including Merck & Co.

Prior to joining Eagle in 2003, Sassouni served as President and CEO of Healthcare Investment Advisors, a boutique firm focused on providing healthcare research to both institutional and retail investors, after a long tenure as a sell-side Research Analyst covering the medical-device industry.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina.
