David is a Portfolio Co-Manager on the Eagle Small and Mid Cap Growth team responsible for covering the consumer sector. He was an analyst on the team before his promotion.

Cavanaugh has 29 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Eagle in 2017, he had roles in equity research and portfolio management for a variety of firms, including LMCG Investments, Copper Rock Capital Partners, MFS Investment Management, and State Street Research. Cavanaugh earned a B.S. from the Boston College in 1992 and an M.B.A from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1997.
